Baking Industry Training Australia (BITA) is a fully registered training organisation that delivers nationally accredited training for the baking industry. BITA is owned and operated as the training arm of the National Baking Industry Association (NBIA) which gives industry direct control and input into the training of our industry’s future.

Industry control also means that any funds generated through training can be re-invested directly back into the development of the baking industry.

BITA offers specialised on-site programs designed to meet the needs of apprentices, employers and industry. School based apprentices are able to access this program as well.

BITA courses are specifically tailored to the needs of the baking industry.

Nationally Recognised & Accredited Apprenticeships:

• Bread Baker;

• Pastry Cook; and

• Baker/Pastry Cook.

All training is delivered under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) which provides for nationally recognised programs.
