We recommend contacting an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) provider or applying for vacant positions in-store, on social media, or online at websites such as the Baking Industry Job Board. Once you have established employment an AASN will assist with the negotiation of your training contract between you and your employer. The AASN will then contact BITA to finalise your paperwork. Your BITA trainer will liaise with you to organise your training plan and commencement.
The BITA training facility is located in Morningside, Queensland. It is fitted out with a comprehensive list of state-of-the-art equipment and machinery including various ovens, retarder provers, various mixers, and more. We use high-quality, readily available ingredients to ensure that our apprentices use what they use in their everyday kitchens.
